Beading has been around since ancient times. They were a symbol of status and wealth. Today beading has a wide spread of stitches and techniques from different parts of the world. I have traveled to many places and attended many seminars on the differences between techniques.
In addition to learning the stitches I have mastered them and have taught in bead stores and conventions. My favorite to start off with is peyote stitch. It is one of the most versatile stitches out there and can be worked many different ways. I also teach herringbone, right angle weave, CRAW/PRAW, St.Petersburg, Huichol, and Brick Stitch.
My studio is a tiny little room where I create my designs. From there I create online content kits and classes to teach others how to create.
